The Signature level one certificate in British Sign Language will enable you to communicate with Deaf people on a range of topics using simple, everyday language.  You don't need any previous experience.

Guided learning: 64 hours

Additional study hours (independent learning): 26 hours

You will learn to:

• Understand and use a limited range of simple words and sentences in BSL.

• Take part in simple conversations in BSL.

• Give and follow simple directions or instructions in BSL.

• Give and follow simple familiar statements or descriptions in BSL.
